1. View of Taal Volcano and Lake

Location: Tagaytay City, Cavite

Taal Volcano is located in Beautiful Batangas, but the best views of the volcano and of the lake can be seen from Tagaytay. This destination is one of the top Tagaytay tourist spots you should not miss! You can have breathtaking views of the Taal Volcano and Lake from many hotels in Tagaytay and restaurants that are located along the ridge. My favorite hotels in Tagaytay with a view of the volcano and the lake are Taal Vista Hotel and The Lake Hotel Tagaytay. You may also check out Escala Tagaytay Hotel which has a very lovely pool with a view of Taal Volcano and Lake.


2. Tagaytay Picnic Grove

Location: Tagaytay Picnic Grove Complex, Barangay Sungay East-End, Tagaytay City, Cavite

One of the best places to visit in Tagaytay with an amazing view of the volcano and the lake is definitely the Tagaytay Picnic Grove. This place is so popular because you could bring-in food and rent tables, huts or gazebos in a scenic hilltop setting and enjoy picnicking with your family and friends or just to enjoy some time with your loved ones. This is definitely one of the best places to visit in Tagaytay if you want to enjoy the cold breezy weather and the splendid panoramic views of Taal Volcano and Lake.

WHAT ARE THE TOP THINGS TO DO AT TAGAYTAY PICNIC GROVE?

You could explore the Eco Trail, enjoy horseback riding, zipline, cable car, badminton area, open field for kite flying, grilling area, and many more! There are also a lot of souvenir shops and food kiosks inside Tagaytay Picnic Grove where you could buy some snacks while enjoyng Tagaytay Picnic Grove.

PICNIC GROVE OPENING HOURS, ENTRANCE & PARKING FEES

The park is open daily, from 07:00 am to 07:00 pm. Entrance fee is 50 pesos per person and parking fee is 35 pesos for cars and 50 pesos for bigger vehicles such as vans and jeepneys.

HOW TO GET TO TAGAYTAY PICNIC GROVE?

Commuting from Metro Manila, go to PITX in ParaƱaque and take a bus to Tagaytay City or Nasugbu. Alight at the jeepney terminal in Olivarez and take a jeepney bound for "People's Park" which passes by Tagaytay Picnic Grove. If you're traveling with a private car, just use Waze or Google Maps for the directions.


3. Palace in the Sky (People's Park)

Location: Tagaytay City, Cavite

Sitting atop Mt. Sungay, the breathtaking views from Palace in the Sky is what makes people visit this place. Also known as "People's Park", it is an unfinished mansion built in the 1980's amd was converted into an urban park. It was supposed to be a guest house for a visiting US President, but the visit didn't push through and the construction of the mansion was also put on hold.

Today, the Palace in the Sky is one of the must-visit tourist spots in Tagaytay offering a view deck with an amazing view of the surroundings. It also has a chapel, garden, some souvenir shops and food kiosks to cater to visiting tourists.

PEOPLE'S PARK OPENING HOURS & ENTRANCE FEE

It is open from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm on weekdays and from 07:00 am to 06:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Entrance fee is 40 pesos per person.

HOW TO GET TO PEOPLE'S PARK?

Commuting from Metro Manila, take a bus to Tagaytay City or Nasugbu and alight at the jeepney terminal in Olivarez. From there, take a jeepney bound for "People's Park". From the gate, you could take another jeepney or just have a leisure walk going up to the mansion. If you're traveling with a private car, just use Waze or Google Maps for the directions.

4. Museo Orlina

Location: Hollywood Subdivision Rd., Brgy. Tolentino East, Hollywood Subd., Tagaytay City

If you love visiting museums and enjoys contemporary arts, check out Museo Orlina. This five-level, privately-owned glass museum showcases the works of Ramon Orlina, a world-renowned and foremost practitioner of glass sculpture in the Philippines. Launched in 2014, it also houses several art works of other artists. Definitely a must-visit in Tagaytay, discover art and nature come together at Museo Orlina!

MUSEO ORLINA OPENING HOURS & ENTRANCE FEE

The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm. Admission fee is PHP 130 pesos (regular) and PHP 100 pesos (Students and Senior Citizens with valid ID).

HOW TO GET TO MUSEO ORLINA?

From Olivarez in Tagaytay, take a jeepney to People's Park and alight at the intersection of Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road. If you're not sure where to alight, just ask the driver to drop you at Tagaytay Econo Hotel. From there, you will see directional signs leading to the museum. Or you may just take the road in between Tagaytay Econo Hotel and Kaye Ryan Grill and you will find the museum. If you're traveling with a private car, just use Waze or Google Maps for the directions.

5. Puzzle Mansion Museum

Location: Cuadra Street, Brgy. Asasin, Tagaytay City

Another famous go-to spot for sightseeing in Tagaytay is the Puzzle Mansion Museum. Holding a Guinness Book of World Records since 2012 for having the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles beating the previous record of Brazil, Tagaytay City prides itself to be the home of The Puzzle Mansion. Located at Barangay Asisan, Tagaytay City, the Puzzle Mansion Museum is home to more than 1,000 puzzles that are included in the record-breaking puzzle collection of Mrs. Georgina Gil Lacuna. This novelty museum in Tagaytay City is definitely a must visit and will be enjoyed by the whole family!

6. Sky Ranch Tagaytay

Location: Km. 60 Tagaytay - Nasugbu Hwy, Kaybagal South, Tagaytay, Cavite

Sky Ranch Tagaytay is ne of the must-visit tourist destination in Tagaytay especially for families, kids and "kids at heart". As a family-friendly establishment, this theme park offers many fun rides, carnival games, souvenir shops, and food stalls to cater to visitors. The highlight of Sky Ranch Tagaytay is the Sky Eye which is one of the tallest ferris wheels in the Philippines. Standing at 207 feet, it has 32 air-conditioned gondolas which provide a magnificent view of Taal Volcano, Taal Lake and surrounding areas of Tagaytay City.

7. Tierra de Maria

333 Tagaytay - Calamba Rd, Tagaytay, Cavite

The Philippines has many religious and spiritual attractions. Tagaytay is one of them as it is home to many chapels, churches and seminaries. One of the must-visit religious places in Tagaytay is Tierra de Maria, a Catholic Marian Shrine along Tagaytay-Calamba Road. Here, you will see a small chapel with a huge 50-foot image of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag. It is a great place to meditate and commune with nature and for people seeking for some quiet time and for spiritual journey.

The shrine is open daily (except Thursdays) from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm.

HOW TO GET TO TIERRA DE MARIA?

Commuting from Metro Manila, take a bus to Tagaytay City or Nasugbu and alight at the jeepney terminal in Olivarez. From there, take a jeepney bound for "People's Park" and alight at Tierra de Maria which is located before Tagaytay Picnic Grove across DAP Conference Center. If you're traveling with a private car, just use Waze or Google Maps for the directions.

What to do in Tagaytay Bulalo Food Trip

8. Mahogany Market

Location: Mahogany Ave, Brgy. Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City, Cavite

A visit to Tagaytay is not complete without trying its local food scene. I highly recommend that you visit the Mahogany Market where you could have a taste of the famous Tagaytay Bulalo. You'll find here many food stalls selling bulalo, and stores selling fruits, locally-grown vegetables and fresh meat. Many restaurants in Tagaytay City serve bulalo but the ones in Mahogany Market remain the "talk of the visitors". For me, this is the best place to eat bulalo in Tagaytay. If the cold weather gets to your bones, warm up by sipping some of Tagaytay's signature Bulalo!

Mahogany Market is open daily from 07:00 am to 08:00 pm.

HOW TO GET TO MAHOGANY MARKET?

Commuting from Metro Manila, take a Nasugbu-bound bus and alight at the fork leading to Mahogany Avenue. From there, take a jeepney going to NBI Tagaytay which passes by Mahogany Market. Just ask the driver to drop you there. If you're already in Tagaytay, take a jeepney bound for Nasugbu and follow the instructions above. If you're traveling with a private car, just use Waze or Google Maps for the directions.

9. Nurture Wellness Village

Location: Pulong Sagingan, Barangay Maitim II West Luzon 4120, Tagaytay, Cavite
