Amacena serves an array of delectable comfort food and fusion dishes. The dishes they offer are a bit pricey, but they are really good and the serving is good for sharing.

Where to Eat: Veranda Restaurant
Veranda Restaurant is Taal Vista Hotel's all-day dining restaurant. Set in the manicured gardens of Taal Vista Hotel, Veranda Restaurant offers guests with not just good food but also with an unrivaled views of the iconic Taal Volcano and Taal Lake. It is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM for Breakfast, 12:00 NN to 3:00 PM for Lunch and 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM for dinner. Lunch buffet is at PHP 1,000 from Monday to Friday and PHP 1,350 during weekends. Dinner buffet is at PHP 1,350 and is available every Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is also open for non-hotel guests. So, even if you're not checked-in at Taal Vista Hotel, you can still dine at Veranda Restaurant and savor their sumptuous dishes.

How to Get to Tagaytay City from Manila
By Public Transportation: There are buses stationed at the Southwest Integrated Provincial Bus Terminal in Uniwide Coastal Mall, Parañaque City that are bound for Tagaytay City. Check on airconditioned and non-airconditioned buses that are labeled "Mendez, Tagaytay or Nasugbu" such as Lorna Express, DLTB Co., San Agustin, Erjohn Almark and BSC Bus. Travel time is about 2 hours and fare is around 90 - 120 pesos.
By Private Car: You can drive to Tagaytay via the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). Or you may drive via Aguinaldo Hi-way passing through Cavite towns of Bacoor, Imus, Dasmariñas and Silang. Tagaytay is the town next to the municipality of Silang.
