I was able to tour Roxas City a bit more after visiting the Church of Panay. I asked the driver to bring me to the city center to see how the things are going there and to check some interesting sites that the city offers. He parked his tricycle in front of the cathedral and pointed to me the things that might interest me. I requested him to just wait for me there as I roam around.

After my sumptuous seafood lunch in Baybay Beach, I rented a tricycle that will bring me to the town of Pan-ay. Located just 20 minutes away southeast of Roxas City, it is considered as one of the oldest towns in the Philippines. Founded by Spanish Augustinian Friars in 1581, it became the 2nd Spanish settlement in the country next to Cebu.

It was already lunch time when our plane from Manila landed in Roxas City Capiz, the Seafood Capital of the Philippines. At that time, I was already very hungry. Oh yes! Very hungry! Hahaha! As they are known for seafood, I asked the tourism officer at the airport where I could eat fresh seafood here.
