San Antonio Resort in Roxas City, Capiz, "An Ideal Place to Relax and Savor Roxas City's Fresh Seafood"

Roxas City is dubbed as the "Seafood Capital of the Philippines." With several flights coming from Manila, it is the main gateway to the province of Capiz as well to it's tourist spots and attractions. If you're planning a visit and wondering where to stay in Roxas City, there are a number of hotels and resorts that you could choose from. One of the most popular resorts in Roxas City is San Antonio Resort located along Baybay Beach which is just a 10 minute drive from Roxas City Airport.

San Antonio Resort is a quaint resort along Baybay Beach in Roxas City where sunset and sunrise can both be seen. It boasts of simple yet elegantly designed rooms and suites on a sprawling property of about 7 hectares offering its guests the luxury of both modern amenities and the charms of nature.

The resort is filled with different kinds of flora, which add up to the serene, peaceful and quiet ambiance of the place. It gives every guest a calming feel of life that makes you one with nature.

Upon arrival at the resort, I didn't fail to notice how huge the property is. It is marvelously designed with well-manicured gardens that blend with the natural setting of the trees and the lake. At this moment, I already felt the peaceful ambiance and tranquil environment it offers - which is what we wanted for our vacation.

We proceeded to the reception area where we were hospitably welcomed by the resort's staff. They greeted us with warm smiles and assisted us with our accommodation. Checking-in was fast and efficient. It only took about 10 minutes and we were given the key cards to our room.

We were then assisted by their friendly staff to our room located near the swimming pool. It is a Lagoon Suite facing the lake! I love it!

Our room is a spacious Lagoon Suite (See Room Rates) that could fit 2 to 3 persons. The room is well-designed with blends of modern furnishings and features full-length glass window with sliding doors leading to a private veranda with a refreshing view of the lagoon.

The suite is luxuriously appointed with two single beds joined to one side by a small bed table. It has fresh clean white sheets, huge fluffy pillows and comforters that perfectly compliment it. I hurriedly tried it and I feel like I just wanna lay here and sleep. Very comfortable!

The room smells fresh, clean and feels very homey. Some of the much-needed room amenities include flat screen LED television with cable channels, individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, a cabinet, a small living room, luggage rack, a direct dial telephone, a personal refrigerator filled with drinks and a mini bar with coffee and tea-making equipment. There's also a sofa bed at one side of the room that can also be used as an extra bed for additional guest occupying the room.

The private veranda at the back side of the room is our most favorite part of the suite room where we spent most of our time just hanging around, feeling the cool breeze of the air while sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the stunning view of the lagoon.

The toilet and bathroom is well-designed and complete with the much-needed amenities. It has hot and cold shower, a bath tub, water closet with bidet and a sink with mirror. It also comes with basic toiletries and bathroom amenities such as shampoo with conditioner, bath soap and dental care kits. The bath towels are soft and all smell fresh! I couldn't ask for more!

With these room amenities, every guest at San Antonio Resort will surely have a relaxing and comfortable stay that they'll end up just staying inside the comforts of their room.

San Antonio Resort has 50 well-designed rooms and suites. They have 17 deluxe rooms, 6 family rooms, 9 suites, 12 econo rooms, 4 family rooms and 2 family suites arranged in clusters around the expansive landscaped gardens with the view of the lagoon or the outdoor infinity pool.

The whole afternoon, we just had a relaxing time roaming around the expansive property and enjoying Baybay Beach while watching the breathtaking sunset.

The following morning, we were treated with a complimentary breakfast served at Portlago Restaurant located near the pool. You may choose from their selection of set breakfast meals or you may also add other meals by choosing from the wide array of dishes on their menu.

After our hearty breakfast, it's time enjoy the resort even more! We spent the whole morning just lounging at the pool and enjoying the resort's awesome surroundings.

They lovely infinity pool with turquoise water has water curtain and sprouting fountains features and a pool bar where you could order light snacks and fresh fruit juices as you lounge by the pool.

The swimming pool is so nice and kept very clean. The place is well-manicured and is surrounded with lush ornamental and flowering plants. It has day beds scattered around and outdoor dining tables where you could eat while enjoying the pool.

Resort guests will certainly have a good time here as they swim and at the same time enjoy a refreshing drink served by the pool.

Free WIFI internet connection is available at the resort lobby, the pool area and even inside our room. Connection is just okay and gets a bit slow when inside the room. But it's good enough for posting some photos on my social media accounts, chatting and replying to emails.

Overall, San Antonio Resort is a excellent choice when staying in Roxas City. The resort's simple yet elegantly designed rooms and suites will certainly take every guest into a "one of a kind" and relaxing resort accommodation experience. The staff are all polite, attentive and cheerful. Everyone greets you with a smile all the time. I believe the main plus point of this resort are the staff who provide personalized service.
