UPDATED PANGASINAN TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2022 for Tourists

Traveling to Pangasinan soon? Get to know the latest and updated Pangasinan travel requirements, entry protocols and guidelines for tourists and visitors traveling to Pangasinan!


As of March 1, 2022, the Province of Pangasinan is under Alert Level 1 until March 15, 2022. Known for Hundred Islands National Park, many idyllic beaches, amazing waterfalls, and breathtaking sights, Pangasinan is open to tourists but only for individuals coming from areas under specific community quarantine levels, subject to travel requirements listed below.

Pangasinan Travel Requirements 2022


  • Register at the Tara Na! Website - at least one week ahead.
  • Bring a Valid ID.
  • Don't forget to pre-book your DOT-accredited accomodation and book guided tours to support the local economy. Check out my post 10 Best Things to Do in Pangasinan for more information.
  • For fully-vaccinated travelers, a COVID-19 domestic full vaccination card (completed after more than 2 weeks) shall serve as a sufficient alternative to any testing requirement of the destination LGU. Pangasinan Travel Requirements (December 2021)


  • S-PASS permits shall no longer be required to be presented at the border checkpoints. The LGU of destination may, however, impose reasonable restrictions upon travelers originating from areas of higher quarantine classifications.
  • Presentation of valid IDs shall be required at the border checkpoints. Those coming from areas under Granular Lockdown, Alert Level 5, ECQ, and MECQ shall be prevented from entry to Pangasinan except for APORs carrying valid authority to travel and/or travel order.
  • Travelers may still be required to undergo health and exposure screening at the border checkpoints.
  • Should any testing be required by the destination LGU, a valid Covid-19 vaccination card shall serve as sufficient alternative.
  • All tourists are still encouraged to register with Pangasinan Tara Na at https://pangasinan.tarana.ph.

Pangasinan Travel Requirements as of November 1, 2021


Non-APORS and tourists coming from areas under GCQ, MGCQ, and Alert Levels 1,2 and 3 may be allowed interzonal travel to Pangasinan. Here are the travel requirements you need to secure before traveling to Pangasinan.

Who are not allowed to enter Pangasinan?


  • Tourists coming from areas under the following quarantine classifications shall not be allowed into the borders of Pangasinan: Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), Granular lockdown, Alert Level 5, and Alert Level 4 for persons below eighteen (18) years of age and those belonging to the vulnerable population, namely, those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age, those with immunodeficiencies, comorbidities, and other health risks, and pregnant women.

Notes:

  • Component LGUs may prohibit the interzonal travel of those from Alert Level 2-3 that are below eighteen (18) years of age, and belonging to the vulnerable population, namely, those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age, those with immunodeficiencies, comorbidities, or other health risks, and pregnant women. BUT, fully vaccinated individuals from Alert Level 2-3 that belong to the vulnerable population and those below eighteen (18) years of age shall be allowed to participate in specialized markets of the Department of Tourism (DOT) such as Point-to-Point travel subject to the reasonable regulations of the LGU of destination, and Staycations.
  • Tourists from provinces under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ), and from places under Alert Level 1, meanwhile, shall be allowed to enter Pangasinan for leisure purposes.
  • Tourist travel must be point-to-point, i.e., pit stops and stopovers for eating and personal necessities are allowed, but no side trips to other destinations shall be permitted.
  • Outdoor tourist attractions are allowed at thirty percent (30%) venue capacity with strict adherence to minimum public health standards. Indoor tourist attractions shall not be allowed to operate.
  • LGU of destination may require additional regulations such as those based age and comorbidities. Please contact the local government unit to confirm or verify the requirements.
  • Travel requirements may change from time to time without prior notice. Please coordinate with the local government unit of your destination for the latest updates, especially for popular Pangasinan tourist destinations such as Alaminos (where Hundred Islands is located), Dagupan City, Manaoag, Bolinao, Anda and Dasol.
