Niagara Falls: Interesting Facts about the New 8th Wonder of the World

The country of Canada has become practically synonymous with the popular destination that it withholds: the Niagara Falls. Having a history that spans over centuries, this bucket list worthy destination is often considered the new 8th wonder of the world, right up there with other breathtaking sights such as the Great Wall of China, Macchu Pichu, and the Taj Mahal.

Now on our 4th day, we safely arrived at the Port of Keelung, Taiwan at around 6:00 in the morning. Excited to see and explore Taiwan again, we boarded our shuttle tour bus for a day of shore excursion to some of Taiwan's best tourist spots and attractions. We're very sure that this day will be so much fun and exciting because the tour we availed includes places we haven't been to. Yey!

Not known to many, there are several waterfalls near Baguio City that can be visited by tourists. This includes Colorado Falls, Canyon Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Hydro Falls which I visited in November 2012 with my friends Emil and Gil. Located in Camp 6 along Kennon Road in Tuba, Benguet, it requires an hour of trekking through huge rock boulders and some river crossing to get to this stunning waterfalls.

We woke early to catch the sunrise at Maniwaya island on day 2 of our 5-day Marinduque Adventure. Still very sleepy, I managed to get up and experience one of the best sunrises I've seen so far.
