List of Holidays in the Philippines and long weekend schedule

We all know that the year 2020 is not a good year for travel. Despite what happened, I am still optimistic and hopeful that 2021 will be a better year! Let's pray for that!

There are many holidays in the Philippines and long weekends this 2021. Start planning to make the most of these holidays!

President Rodrigo Duterte thru the Malacanang Palace released the list of Regular Holidays and Special (non-working) Holidays for the year 2021 through Proclamation No. 986 s. 2020.

The said proclamation lists 10 regular holidays, 7 special non-working holidays and 2 additional special non-working days for 2021, most of it also give the chance for us to enjoy several long weekends. This is indeed good news for Filipinos who love to travel because it gives more time for us to enjoy the holidays with the long weekends that can be spent on a vacation here or abroad.

Best travel destinations in the Philippines after COVID-19 Pandemic

One of the best travel experiences that I’ve had were my travels to Palawan. It captured my heart and left me in awe as I saw a glimpse of what heaven would look like if it was here on earth. Vividly colored with so many memories and different hues, it is definitely another place to go back to once this pandemic is over. I’m currently planning out adventure trips in the near future, hopefully by end of the year or by early next year.

I’m planning an ultimate Palawan adventure, to discover more islands and places I haven’t been to and go back to the places I visited in the past to relive and recreate wonderful memories.

My dream travel destination after covid-19 pandemic

Ten years ago, I dreamt of exploring the whole Philippines. My goal then is to visit all of the 81 provinces of our country and share my travels and experiences to everyone as I explore each province of the Philippines and cross it off my bucket list. It was never an easy. I know, at the back of my mind that it might take me awhile and might cost me tons of money to achieve what I want. But I've always known it would be a fulfilling journey. I've always known it was what I wanted to do. And for as long as I have the time and energy to do so, I'll live my life to the fullest doing what I love. After all, we don’t know what tomorrow might bring.
