Hiroshima is known as the site where the unfortunate atomic bombing of August 6, 1945 happened during World War II. Starting April 7, 2025, Japan Visa Applications will be accepted at Japan Visa Application Centre (JVAC) by VFS Service Philippines, Inc.


In a statement released by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, the Japan Visa Centre by VFS Service Philippines, Inc. is scheduled to begin its operation on April 7, 2025 to provide better service and convenience to those applying for visas.

JVAC will be authorized to accept and issue Japan visa applications. There will be five branches in key cities in the Philippines, namely: Parañaque City, Makati City, Quezon City, Cebu City, and Davao City. If you plan to apply for Japan visa, you may now set an appointment through their online appointment website.

Visa applications will no longer be accepted at accredited agencies starting April 6, 2025. Japan visa applications will be accepted at the Japan Visa Application Center, starting April 7, 2025
