Yes, summer is officially over, but as long as the sun is shining, there's always a destination we could visit all year round. One of them is the lovely province of Bohol in the Visayas! It is visited for its rich heritage, delectable food offerings, lovely islands and beaches and its endless list of things to do any time of the year. No doubt, Bohol is one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines that is frequented by foreign and local travelers wanting to have an awesome and memorable vacation.

Just last month, we were invited by on of the best beach resorts in Bohol - Amorita Resort for a 2-night vacation in Panglao island. Together with other bloggers, we got to experience what Amorita Resort has to offer.
Junior Suite
Our amazing Junior Suite Room (Check room rates online) embraces luxurious living combined with the simplicity and beauty of natural materials coupled with all the modern comforts of luxury accommodation. Upon entering our room, I was at awe when I saw how spacious and lovely our room suite is. There is enough space to move around and it has lovely and modern interiors that exude a relaxing vibe and a very homey feel. It also smells fresh, clean and complemented with top-notch amenities designed to meet the most discriminating taste of every guest.
Our room (Check room rates online) is highlighted with 2 single beds coupled with clean white sheets, thick comforters and fluffy pillows perfect of a good night sleep. I hurriedly tried it and I feel like I just wanna lay here and sleep all day. Hahaha! Very comfortable!
Other essential room amenities include an individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, an en suite toilet and bath, a small dining area and lounging area, a flat-screen television with cable channels, luggage rack, safety deposit box, hanging area, a telephone, a personal refrigerator with complimentary drinking water replenished daily and a coffee and tea making facility with complimentary coffee.
There's also a day bed at one side of the room that can also be used as an extra bed for additional guest occupying the room.
And oh, there's also a welcome basket of fresh fruits and some cookies which we loved so much!
The toilet is separated from the bathroom which has hot and cold shower with excellent water pressure. The shower area is so nice and it has a rain shower feature, which I really like!
Outside the toilet and bath, there's a lavatory with a huge mirror, clothes and towel hanging area, hair dryer and all the toiletries such as shampoo with conditioner, bath soap, body gel, lotion and dental care kits were provided. The hand and bath towels as well as the bathrobes are soft and all smell fresh! I couldn't ask for more, it's quite impressive!
Our room is indeed spacious and has all the much-needed amenities for a comfortable stay. Everything is clean, fresh and well-organized! It is thoughtfully-decorated in earth tone colors and feels comfortable as it is minimally-designed and well-organized. With all these amazing room amenities, every guest will surely have a relaxing and comfortable stay that they'll end up just staying inside the comforts of their room. I can assure you of that!
F&B Services

During breakfast, we were treated with a wide spread of local and international dishes served daily at Saffron Restaurant located near Amorita Resort's infinity pool.
The buffet breakfast is composed of different meat, fish and vegetables dishes to choose from. There's also a salad bar, a cheese section, an egg station and a variety of pastries and fresh fruits for desserts.
The menu change each day, so even if you're staying for more than 1 night, you won't get bored with their breakfast because there's always something new to looking forward to each day. The food were good and satisfying! A great way to perk up our day!
Swimming Pool
Amorita Resort's swimming pool is so nice and kept very clean. It has day beds scattered around and some dining tables where you could eat or have some drinks while enjoying the pool. This is the perfect spot to relax, read a book and enjoy the resort's tropical surroundings while savoring your vacation.
The Beach
Just a stone's throw away is Amorita Resort's private beach. Here, you could enjoy the heat of the sun, the white sandy beache and the clear, calm turquoise waters amid high limestone cliffs and lush tracts of greenery.
One could also indulge into snorkeling, swimming, sun bathing, kayaking and beach combing at Amorita's private beach. The clear blue waters is so inviting that we enjoyed our time at the beach the whole morning of our last day in the resort.
But if you want to visit the famous Alona Beach, it is also just a few meters walk from the resort. So, whether you want a private beach for yourself or enjoy Alona Beach with the crowd, Amorita Resort offers both!
Sea Tree Spa
Designed for guests and visitors seeking for ultimate relaxation, wellness and rejuvenation experience, Sea Tree Spa offers relaxing and quality massages with high commitment to customer service from their professionally-trained therapists. We got to try it and we were really satisfied with their massage service.
Their therapists are well-trained and go beyond an extra mile in providing excellent service to their clients. It is certainly the perfect place to treat and pamper yourself after a day of enjoying the different activities in Bohol.

Amorita Resort also offers several tour packages such as city tours, Bohol countryside tours, island hopping with dolphin watching tour, among many others.
