Traveling in Comfort with Isarog Bus Lines' Sleeper Bus

I've been to Legapi City for 4 times already. On all of those trips, I flew in via Legazpi and flew out from the same airport or via Naga City. This time, I wanted to try something new. I flew in via Legazpi City airport, and traveled by bus on my way home. I wasn't really sure if I could endure the 12-hour land travel, but I have to give it a try. I am not into long bus rides as I have this congenital back problem called "sacralization of the L5 on S1" which makes me prone to back pains if I am seated for such a long time. Good thing the bus we took on our way back to Manila is a sleeper bus.

Isarog Bus Line's sleeper bus or luxury coach travels every Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from Legazpi to Manila. You could call them or send them a message through their twitter account for the updated schedule. You have to reserve early as the bus' capacity is only around 35 passengers. Even if you're coming from Legazpi, there are other passengers who have already booked from Naga. It would be best if your have prior reservation.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT ISAROG BUS LINES' SLEEPER BUS

  • It has a television set and a toilet.
  • Beds or seats are comfortable.
  • The "bed" or seat can be reclined and it has enough leg space where you could stretch your legs for a good sleep.
  • Your space has its own AC vent and lights that you can switch on and off.
  • It has a small personal compartment where you could put your things.
  • You could move freely as you don't have a seatmate. You also don't have to deal with a snoring seatmate. Hahaha!
  • The best thing is, Free WIFI is available! Yahoo!

TRAVEL TIPS

  • They don't provide a blanket, bring your own if you need one. Good thing, I always bring my ever useful sarong.
  • If you're coming from Legazpi, the next bus stop would be Naga where they will pick-up passengers and the last and final bus stop is Mc Donald's Villa Escudero in Quezon.
  • You could choose if you want to be on the lower or upper bed. It's better on the lower bed so you won't need to climb.
  • Reserve your tickets and be at the terminal at least 30 minute before the time of departure.

So for those who want a comfortable 10 or 12-hour bus ride to and from Naga or Legazpi, try riding one of Isarog Bus Lines' sleeper buses. It's one of my most comfortable long bus ride ever!
