We chose to take the train because it's cheaper and we also want to experience what is considered as "China's fastest train." With a speed of 250-350 km/hour for G Trains, taking the high-speed train will bring you to Beijing from Shanghai in less than 6 hours. How cool is that?

Ultimate Guide on Chengdu Panda Tour Guide 2019

Any trip to Chengdu is not complete without a visit to one of the four giant panda centers in the area. The cuddly national icon of China, and the logo of the WWF (World Wildlife Fund), the cute black and white pandas are one of the world’s rarest animals, and were hunted and forced out of their natural habitats until they were close to extinction. Now recovering and taken of the endangered list, the pandas live both wild and in captivity in China, at 26 panda research centers as well as at more than a dozen wild locations in Sichuan, Gansu, and Shaanxi.

Learning Mandarin with Rosetta Stone

As the saying goes... “It’s never too late to learn something new.” And I totally agree!

The best part about traveling and experiencing other cultures is the language. So before I travel to any country, I always make sure that I learn a few basic words and phrases from the country I’m visiting that can be useful for my travel. A simple “greeting” and saying “thank you” are the simple words I start to learn. But I guess, it would also be good if I learn more conversational phrases so I would somehow be able to communicate more with the locals.

Teaching in English in China

I love to travel but I admit that sometimes I am out of funds and that’s normal. I am not that rich to support all my travel needs and that is why I am working as a freelancer. If you are a budget traveler like me who dream to wander around the world but don’t have enough funds, applying for different freelance jobs around the world is one of the best options. There are many freelance jobs that you can do while traveling the world and the most common jobs that you can apply includes being a tour guide, where you can travel together with the tourist as you work. You can also be a waiter in different restaurants globally. Or you can also work in a hotel outside the country.

Discover the Far East Teaching English in China

Discovering the Far East

In today’s increasingly globalized world, the demand for the English language is seemingly endless. For the adventurous, teaching English in China has become the best way to earn a living and explore this exciting country. But this isn’t new. For generations restless and intrepid souls from the West have been fascinated by the prospect of travelling through the vast mountain ranges, trellised rice paddies, and—more recently—sprawling neon-lit cityscapes of China. The nation is home to one of the oldest continuous civilizations on the planet (with more than 4,000 years of documented history) and a host of natural and man-made wonders, from the plumes of water cascading down the Huangguoshu Falls and the mist-shrouded peaks of Mt. Wuyi, to the modern skylines and bustling streets of Beijing and Shanghai, not to mention the striking Great Wall. China has always called out to those who have the traveller’s thirst for the new and unfamiliar, the blending of the ancient and the modern, whether as an explorer or as an entrepreneur. The question then becomes how to get your foot in the door and how to make a living once you get there.
