How to Register and Get BORACAY QR CODE for Tourists?

Boracay Tourist QR Code Travel Requirements

Are you planning to visit Boracay this new normal? Be sure to register and get your Boracay Tourist QR code before your trip!


All tourists bound for Boracay need to get a QR Code from Boracay's local government unit, regardless if you're fully-vaccinated, partially-vaccinated, or unvaccinated. If you are considering traveling to Boracay anytime soon, this QR code is one of the travel requirements needed to enter the island as a tourist.

In this blog post, I will share to you how to register and get Boracay's QR code for tourists traveling to the island this "new normal".

Step-by-step Guide on How to Register and Get a Boracay Tourist QR Code


Before accomplishing the OHDC Application Form, make sure that you have digital copies of your proof of identification, proof of vaccination status or RT-PCR negative result certificate, a copy of confirmed hotel/resort booking, and roundtrip flight/travel details.

  • Visit www.touristboracay.com. Click/tap "BORACAY" to access the official health declaration form.

  • How to get Boracay Tourist QR Code?

  • Accomplish the health declaration form by entering the necessary information.

  • How to get Boracay Tourist QR Code?

  • Don't forget to upload the following documentary requirements:

  • ID/Passport: Proof of identification with Philippine residency address (Valid government-issued ID i.e. Passport, Drivers License). Passport for Foreigners/OFWs/OFs.
  • VaxCert/Vaccination Certificate/RT-PCR:
    • For fully vaccinated travelers: Vaccination certificate from VaxCertPH or vaccination card from the LGU where you got vaccinated with full vaccination status and with verifiable QR Code/with Certificate of Vaccination from vaccination center with contact details; or, Vaccination Card/ID/Certificate issued abroad.
    • For unvaccinated and partially-vaccinated travelers: Negative RT-PCR Test Result from any DOH-accredited laboratories taken within seventy-two (72) hours. Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Swab Test from DOH-acredited clinics.
    • Certificate of Undertaking Travelling with Minors: For Children below 12 years old, accomplish the Certificate of Undertaking Travelling with Minors template that can be found here.

  • Booking Details: A copy of your confirmed hotel/resort booking.
  • Travel Details: Rountrip flight itinerary. Caticlan Aiport must be used for those traveling by air.

  • √ SEE THE LIST OF BEST HOTELS & RESORTS IN BORACAY!


  • Enter the captcha code, then click submit. If unable to submit, please make sure that all required fields are filled up and attachments are successfully uploaded.
  • A confirmation page will display your QR CODE with a "Preview and Download" button.
  • Click/tap the "Preview and Download" button to download your OHDC to your device. Please SAVE or PRINT or SCREENSHOT a copy of your OHDC QR Code.
  • Keep the OHDC QR Code with you at all times. You will need this QR code to enter and exit Boracay.

  • How to get Boracay Tourist QR Code?

As easy as that! You can now enjoy your trip to Boracay!


NOTES:


  • You must upload complete, correct, clear and authentic documents. Although your OHDC QR Code is autogenerated, your submitted documents will still undergo the usual validation process for completeness and authenticity.
  • If for any reason you have failed to generate or save your OHDC, or clicked the provided link in the confirmation page to open your OHDC, please fill up a new application.
  • For any issues in your OHDC QR Code, you may send an email to: travelinfo@aklan.gov.ph or touristboracay@gmail.com; or contact Travel Info Aklan Assistance Center at 09398780715 / 09755809013 / 09958500585.
  • Your OHDC QR Code has an expiry of twelve (12) hours from your accommodation check-out time. If you wish to extend your stay in Boracay, you must send an email of a new booking slip to touristboracay@gmail.com.

2021 Boracay Trip!


Sharing these videos taken by my brother during his recent trip to Boracay last November 2021. They stayed at Belmont Hotel Boracay, one of the nicest hotel-resorts in Boracay! Also include here are Belmont Hotel Boracay's room tour, resort tour and a glimpse of their breakfast buffet. They also visited the top tourist spots in Boracay and the popular "key hole" in Boracay, which is one of the islands newest tourist attractions.

  5. How many days po valid before travel period yung qr code??and also,im.bringing my 7yrs old son,and he's not yet vaccinated.. need pa po ba ng rtpcr??thanks for your reply..

    1. yes children below 12 unvaccinated is required to provide RT PCR test.

  7. Good day my daughter is attending seminar in boracay and booked by the organizer from april 27-29, 2022 but her return flight is on april 30, 2022, morning, does she need another QR for april 30, 2022, pls need your advise. Thsnk you.
