Time Spent: 1 hour and 40 minutes

Located in the mountainous town of Jinguashi in Ruifang District, the Gold Museum is a museum that features the gold mining industry of New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is a living museum composed of several buildings showcasing the local mining industry and how people lived during the glorious days of mining in the area. Visiting this museum will let you enter the four-joined Japanese style residence, the Environmental Building, Gold Refining Building, Jin-shui Special Exhibition Hall, and the Gold Building. I love that some of the displays here are interactive and will let you feel the life of the miners during those times.
