5 Most Romantic Destinations I would Love to Visit Soon

Love can be best expressed when you are in midst of serene, picturesque, and breath-taking locations. That is why, traveling has been a popular activity now for couples wanting to experience something new once in a while. Traveling with your special someone gives you moments and fond memories that you will surely treasure and reminisce for the rest of your life. It’s also a good way to know more about your partner and to solidify your love for each other.

This 2018, I promised my that I will travel to as many international destinations that I could. Since February is "love month," let me share to you some romantic destinations I want to visit this 2018.

1. Maldives

I imagine myself enjoying the beaches of Maldives, the sand, the sun, the breathtaking sunsets, and the tropical weather with a special someone. More to that, the idea of staying in a luxurious villa with a great view of the beach and just enjoying each moment with your partner is something that is definitely worth looking forward to. Ahhhhh! The Maldives is a dream destination and I can’t wait to visit it soon!

2. Sapporo, Japan

Japan is a perfect destination for couples as it has a lot to offer when it comes to attractions and activities fit for romantic getaways. Inspired by the local Filipino movie “Kita Kita," Sapporo, Japan is one of the places I want to visit soon. Enjoying its beautiful landscapes that complement its heritage, this city is considered to be one of the best places for spending a romantic vacation. I’m visiting Japan again this year. Hopefully, I could include a trip to Sapporo in our itinerary. A trip to Sapporo will surely bring lots of great memories.

3. India

When talking about India, one could not miss to mention the Taj Mahal. This white marble mausoleum is located in the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra was built between 1631 and 1648. It’s one of the most iconic monuments in India and a true testament of love of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife.

4. Paris, France

Paris is not called “The City of Love” for nothing. No trip to Paris would be complete without seeing its iconic landmark, The Eiffel Tower. Aside from the famous tower, the top Parisian sites to visit for a romantic getaway include Notre-Dame Cathedral, The Louvre Museum and the Arc de Triomphe. Paris is arguably one of the most romantic places in the world, offering that Parisian charm that I’ve always imagined.

5. Santorini, Greece

Famous for being a "honeymoon paradise," Santorini is an island in Greece surrounded by a plethora of stunning and awesome beaches. With its vibrant cliffs, beautiful and unique views, and dramatic sunset, it is surely a paradise that every couple will surely enjoy. I can’t wait to spend a romantic holiday in Santorini soon!
