A place only known to hikers because of its twin peaks a Mts. Cabuyao and Sto. Tomas in Tuba Benguet is now becoming a popular tourist attraction near Baguio City. Sitio La Presa is where the hit TV series of ABS-CBN Forevermore is being shot. The place is actually called Sitio Pungayan, an upland barangay in Tuba Benguet.
I've been to Mts. Cabuyao and Sto. Tomas in the past. This sleepy barangay up in the mountains is now visited by a lot of tourists wanting to have a photo taken at Sitio La Presa. Just like me! #fan :)
There are now a lot of souvenir shops and eateries that cater to the needs of the tourists. You can buy shirts, caps as well as vegetables from the local farmers.
If you would search for Sitio La Presa in Google maps, you won't find any lead as it is just a fictional place. Ever wonder how to get to Sitio La Presa?
The easiest and most convenient way is to hire a taxi from Baguio City proper that will bring you to Sitio La Presa. Travel time is about 30-45 minutes and taxi rental is 1,000 pesos going there and back to the city. The rental also includes the waiting time of 1 hour. You may contact Kuya Robert at 0927-8438306; he is the driver of the taxi that we hired. His taxi could accommodate up to 5 passengers.
