Shop Around at Chatuchak Market


With over 15,000 vendors around, the Chatuchak Market is a place when you can shop and eat at the same time. From cheap clothing to cost-effective gadget and even animals, the market is busting of loud chatters and animated movements from the haggling encounters between the buyer and the seller. You’ll most likely end up with numerous bags of various items even if you weren’t planning to buy at the outset. One of the best ways to experience Bangkok is to try out their exotic assortment of delicious and cheap street food.

Marvel at the Hustle on Khao San Road


The Khao San Road is pretty popular among the backpacker tourists of Bangkok. This particular place is a must-see and do if you want to experience Bangkok in just one night. As one of the busiest streets around, you’ll find cheap stores, food stalls, and bars all lined up. The hostels are also the top accommodation destination of backpackers due to its cheap nature.

Boat Riding Along Chao Phraya River


If you want a more laid back feel of Bangkok, you can try sailing down the Chao Phraya River. There are ferries that go from various hotels and landmarks so you can just take your pick. You can also rent out longboats. Ask your guide and driver to take you along the canals which are among the best things you can experience in the city. You can also opt to end your cruise with a dinner while you marvel at the beautiful sunset and the temples along the way.
