Boracay was dubbed many times as one of the "World's Best Islands." As a popular beach destination in the Philippines among local and foreign tourists, there are several ways on how to get there. The fastest way to get to Boracay from Manila is via a 40-minute plane ride.

Before, if you’re on a budget, the most economical way is to fly from Manila to Kalibo and take a 2 hour journey to Boracay Island. But since the rehabilitation of Caticlan-Boracay Airport, larger planes can now land and depart Caticlan Airport.

We're boarding na! See you in #Boracay! 😊 #AirAsiaInCaticlan #HenannPrimeBeach #AirAsia @AirAsiaFilipino @henannprimebeach @cabinzero #CabinZero

One of the low-cost carriers that fly to Caticlan is Air Asia. They have twice daily flights to Caticlan from Manila using an A320 aircraft. With bigger planes and larger carrying capacity, AirAsia's flights to Boracay using A320 aircraft, can bring down the airfare prices to such an affordable rate.

For example, if I want to go to Boracay next month, I can book a flight to Caticlan for as low as 1,590 pesos. That's really cheap! While Caticlan-Manila flight could go as low as 2,300 pesos. How cool is that?!

Flying from Manila to Kalibo is still economical, but if I were to choose, I will choose flying to Caticlan because it would save me a lot on travel time.

With Air Asia's all-year-round low fares, you can now fly to Boracay any time of the year! No need to wait for seat sale or airline promos!

Air Asia Philippines has daily flights from Manila to Caticlan-Boracay. Flights are schedule to depart Manila at 10:55 AM and 02:30 PM daily. These flights depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 and arrive at Caticlan-Boracay Airport. Travel time from Manila to Caticlan is about 40 minutes.
