Nikon KeyMission 360 Review:

The Nikon KeyMission 360's compact and solid build, and a dimension of 2.6in. x 2.5in. x 2.4in. that perfectly fits one hand, makes it a handy travel companion. What I love about it is that there are only two buttons - one for taking still photos and one for videos. These dedicated buttons are so easy to use. Even if the camera is turned off, you just need to press your desired button and it will start taking photos or videos. This is essential for any adventurous activity because there are moments that need to be captured instantly. Nikon KeyMission 360's dedicated buttons let you take photos and videos instantly without the hassle of turning on the camera first and selecting your desired shooting mode. Best of all, it's waterproof at 98 ft., shockproof at 6.6 ft., and freeze-proof at 14 degrees Fahrenheit with no additional housing needed - perfect for any adventure!

What I love most about taking 360 photos and videos with my Nikon KeyMission 360 is allowing viewers to explore the entire surroundings of where I took the photo or the video. With a 360 camera, it makes my travel photos and videos more interactive because viewers could now see everything. Yes, everything! With a Nikon KeyMission 360 Action Camera, the entire surrounding area is recorded as a sphere using the camera's two wide angle lenses.

Here are some sample photos and videos taken with a Nikon KeyMission 360:

Puka Beach on Boracay Island

Victoria Peak, Hong Kong

Bohol Bee Farm, Panglao Bohol

The Nikon KeyMission 360 records 4K Ultra HD videos, 23.9-megapixel photos, time-lapse sequences and other shooting modes. Viewing a 360 content is best experience when viewed with a smartphone where you can tilt and scroll left and right or up and down and see what's behind, above, below or almost everything. This makes you feel that you are right there in the photo or video. How cool is that?!

It is quite important to note that the two wide angle lenses are covered with removable plastic lens cover. This is good as you can easily replace it if ever you accidentally drop it and scratch the lens covers. It also comes with extra lenses designed for underwater shots. But if you're just snorkeling or just above the water, there's no need to replace the lens covers.

With regards to the battery, it uses Li-ion Battery EN-EL12 which could last for about 1 hour of continued use. So, if you're traveling and you don't have immediate power source to recharge your battery, an extra Li-ion Battery is a must-have or you may charge it with a power bank.

Nikon KeyMission SnapBridge App

For someone like me who always use the social media to share my travels and adventure, the Nikon KeyMission 360's built-in Bluetooth and WIFi features allow easy file transfer and sharing. With the use of the SnapBridge app, it gives users real-time wireless transfer of photos and videos from the camera to any mobile device. Setting up the app and connecting the camera is pretty quick and easy. The app can also be used for the camera's settings and shooting modes. It can be downloaded for free and is available on both Android and iOS devices.

The Nikon KeyMission SnapBridge App can also be used to do minor edits to your 360 videos such as cropping and adding of background music. For 360 photos, I use SnapSeed and RollWorld app in creating tiny planet photos and videos.

Tiny Planet Photos and Videos

If you want to create tiny planet videos and photos, you may use the Roll World app on your iOS device. I love how easy to use the Roll World App is. It's one of the best apps for creating tiny planet photos and videos - a great way to showcase your travel photos and videos in a new perspective. For Android users, you may also check out Tiny Planet FX Pro app on Google Play Store.
