Midori Clark Hotel's Christmas Tree Lighting and Angels' Dream 2016 Project

Earlier this week we were invited by our friends from Midori Clark Hotel and Casino as they welcome the most awaited season through a meaningful celebration of joy and goodwill in their Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as well as the launch of their first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project called "Angels' Dream 2016."

Midori Clark Hotel and Casino's "Angels' Dream 2016 Project" is a charity fund campaign and is all about fulfilling the wishes of the unfortunate. This project aims on making the Aeta kids' wishes come true and uplift their spirits by granting their wishes this Yuletide season.

Together with the staff of Midori Clark Hotel, we fetched the kids and brought them to the hotel.

Several Aeta kids from Haduan Negrito Elementary School and Sapang Bato Elementary Schools joined the event.


The kids also showcased their talents by performing Christmas carols, traditional dance and songs that surely delighted the guests.

Most of us are fortunate and blessed to have food, clothes,shelter and a whole lot more. Midori Clark Hotel and Casino would like to pass on the good faith by providing the lesser fortunate with the basic necessities and a few treats - such as toys and schools supplies.

Some 200 Aeta kids participated in the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and they hung their wish cards on Midori's Christmas Tree. The kids' wishes will be distributed to Midori Hotel's management and staff to grant the children’s wishes this Christmas.

Guests are also encouraged to participate. They can donate whatever item they wish that they believe would put a smile to the kids' faces and brighten up their day. Guests can also pick a wish card from Midori Hotel's Christmas Tree and approach the front desk to fulfill a kid's wish this Christmas.

The kids will come back to Midori Hotel on December 21 where all the gifts they wished for will be given to them by Midori's Santa Claus.
