I was recently invited on a familiarization tour of Bangkok and Chang Mai, Thailand. The moment I saw the email from the organizers, I got really excited since I haven't been to Thailand and this is my chance to visit this amazing country. Unfortunately, the schedule of the trip conflicts with my prior commitments. As much as I wanted to join the Thailand Familiarization Tour, I have to decline. That's a hard decision to make, but I have to do it.

Good thing I found the Amazing Dream Journey Project offered by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). It gives a chance for foreigners to win a free trip to Thailand by just creating a dream journey in Thailand where you plan a “3 days 2 nights trip” related to any of the 6 themes and share it on social media. As easy as that! The winners will get a free trip in Thailand based on the theme they selected.

It only takes 4 easy steps join and you're on your way to your “dream journey” in Thailand. Here's how to join:

STEP 1: Register to become a member of their website and form a team of 2 persons

You just need to register and form a team of 2 persons that you will be spending an awesome holiday in Thailand.

STEP 2: Choose your preferred theme from the 6 choices

You may choose from the 6 predefined themes such as The Royal Project Culinary, Luxurious Honeymoon, Well0being Trail, Life on the Green, Splendid Yacht and Extravagant Eco Shell. Since I just recently went on a cruise few weeks ago, I choose the Splendid Yacht theme.

STEP 3: Step 3 Create your itinerary of 3 days 2 nights in Thailand by the end of November

Now, you should create your itinerary. You may choose to select from their library or create your own. Since I haven't been to Thailand, I opted to choose from their library.

On day 1, I chose a day tour via SuperStar Yacht & Marine Pattaya. On the 2nd day, I chose, Andaman Cruises Phuket. Lastly, on the 3rd day, I chose Innovative Pro Samui. Looks exciting right?!

After creating your itinerary, input your Trip Name.

STEP 4: Share your dream journey on your social media

Now, share your itinerary in your social media accounts.

STEP 5: Winner teams will be selected to have a trip in Thailand

The Amazing Dream Journey Project will run from September 1, 2016 to February 28, 2017. If you wish to join, make sure that you submit your application until November 30, 2016. The selection of winners and activity will be from December 1 – 15 2016.

The Project Committee will select the 6 Winners and will be announced on December 20, 2016. The 6 winning teams will be traveling to Thailand and participate in the activities arranged by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
