BUDGET HOTEL REVIEW: Red Planet Hotel Angeles City, Pampanga

I always believe, "if we change, we should change for the better." That's exactly what happened to Tune Hotels in the Philippines which is now re-branded to Red Planet Hotels Philippines (Check rates online). In a press statement released by the company, "It's all about value," Tim Hansing, Chief Executive Officer of Red Planet said. "Value for our customers and creating value for our shareholders. Just 2 weeks ago, after the Angeles City Tourist Experience Event organized by the Angeles City Tourism Office, we decided to stay for another night in the city. We stayed at Red Planet Hotels Angeles City (Check rates online) as it is one of the best value hotels in Angeles city.

We had a chance to stay here last year, so we practically know what to expect. Located along Don Juico Avenue, it is near commercial, business and entertainment establishments in the city.

Upon arrival, we were hospitably welcomed by their lovely and friendly staff.

The lobby is still as spacious. It is neat and well-organized with a lot of sitting areas for guests to lounge while waiting for check-in or check-out.

There are also state-of-the-art computers at the lobby that is free for guests to use to access the internet any time of the day.

Checking-in was fast and efficient. After about 5 minutes, we were given our room's key cards. We then took the lift and proceeded to our room located at the 4th floor.

Our room is a double room (Check rates online) that can comfortably fit 2 adults. It is clean, uncluttered and has modern furnishings.

It has a queen size bed with comfortable mattress complemented with clean white sheet, plush comforter and high quality pillows. I quickly tried it and my back loves it. Very comfortable!

Other room amenities include an LCD television set with cable channels, side tables with light, an individually controlled air-conditioning unit, a huge mirror, safety deposit box, hair dryer, clothes hanging area, a ceiling fan and a foldable side table.

As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was impressed! Being a budget hotel, I didn't expect a toilet and bath as spacious as this. It has a walk-in shower area with hot & cold super shower and excellent water pressure, a sink with mirror and a clean water closet with a bidet spray. Basic toiletries such as shampoo, bath soap, tissue paper and clean towels were also provided.

Nowadays, being able to access stable and fast WiFi internet is crucial to every guest. At Red Planet Hotel Angeles, free WIFI internet access is available 24/7 anywhere in the hotel. Connection is fast and reliable, even inside the room! I love it! Red Planet Hotel significantly upgraded WiFi connection speeds which is among the fastest in the hotel industry in the Philippines.

Their staff are pleasant, smart and genuinely accommodating to every guest. It is the best place to stay for your business or leisure trips to Angeles City.
