We went on a "staycation" at Cocoon Boutique Hotel last month and we really loved and enjoyed our short but sweet overnight stay.No doubt, Cocoon Boutique Hotel (Check rates online) is the number 1 hotel in Quezon City.
Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and assisted us with our luggage.
The moment we stepped inside the hotel lobby, I was instantly impressed with its lovely interiors. The high ceiling, comfortable sofas, the indoor plants, the old grand piano and the lovely wood works accentuating the wall somehow give the hotel a very homey and welcoming vibe.
We then proceeded to the reception area where the staff greeted us with warm and genuine smile. She then graciously assisted us with our reservation.
While waiting, a staff directed us to the sitting are and gave us a refreshing welcome drink. I think it's lemon or calamansi juice. A perfect way cool down while waiting for our room to be ready.
Checking-in was fast and efficient. Even before I finished my drink, a staff approached us and handed us our key cards. We were then ushered to our room by their friendly staff.
One Bedroom Suite
Upon entering our well-appointed guest room (Check rates online), I was totally impressed. The room is very spacious, smells fresh and clean. It is a one-bedroom suite located at the 5th floor with a connecting door to a Deluxe room if you wish to get a 2-bedroom suite. It is awesomely beautiful and features a mix of modern and classic Filipino (with a little bit of Oriental) interiors with top-notch facilities and amenities that every guest will surely love.
It has a receiving area with a comfy sofa that converts into a double bed, a television set, a work desk, luggage rack, a toilet and a mini bar equipped with coffee and tea making sets, some snacks and a refrigerator filled with drinks and complimentary drinking water.
I then checked on the bedroom. Woah! It has array of essential amenities that are needed for a comfortable stay! It has a top-of-the-line King-sized bed with pocket springs and topped with memory foam. It is complemented with a 600 thread-count 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen and 90% goose down duvets and circle-of-down pillows. I tried it right away and I felt like I was melting into the bed as I lay my back on it. Very comfortable and relaxing!
The room feels airy and very comfortable because of its size. I am definitely impressed and happy with the much needed amenities and facilities equipped inside the room. It has an individually-controlled inverter-type air-conditioning unit, a luxurious en suite toilet and bath, IDD/NDD telephone, a cabinet, an LCD television set with cable channels, an electronic safety deposit box, full size mirror and clothes hanging rack. It is also characterized with an old house ambiance, which I really like.
I certainly love the way Cocoon Boutique Hotel made use of old materials such as the reclaimed wood on the room's flooring, recycled paper and old fixtures that you can see in the room and around the hotel, just to name a few.
As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was impressed even more! It is so spacious and as grand as our hotel room! It has a free-standing deep-soak bathtub, a walk-in shower area with rainshower and hot & cold water features, a "his and hers" sink with a huge mirror and a clean water closet with bidet spray.
Also provided were 100% organic and eco-certified bathroom amenities, soft and fluffy 100% Egyptian cotton towel sets and 100% cotton waffle bathrobes.
For me, it is very important to have a bathroom that is clean, spacious, well-lit and organized. Cocoon Boutique Hotel did not disappoint me; from the sink to the water closet, to the shower area, they are all clean.
Everything we need are here! I couldn't ask for more!
Food & Beverage Services
Cocoon Boutique Hotel's in-house restaurants are located at the hotel's 6th floor or the roof deck. The Deck Breakfast Venue is a casual dining restaurant that offers a wide array of international and local cuisines. The buffet breakfast that comes with every booking at the hotel is served at The Deck Breakfast Venue from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
The buffet table has limited but carefully selected dishes. Also included in the breakfast is a menu of al carte meals where you could order your choice of set breakfast. This is a good thing as your food will be served hot and freshly prepared.
We also go to try Abuela's Coffee Shop also located at Cocoon Boutique Hotel's roofdeck. It is a casual al-fresco dining restaurant that serves traditional Filipino comfort food and popular international dishes. It is open daily, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. WIFI Internet Connection
WIFI internet connection is available anywhere in the hotel; well, except inside the bathroom. Connection is fast, reliable and the best things is - it's free! I love it!
Outdoor Swimming Pool
Also located at the roof deck is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with lounges, chairs and tables catering to the guests' needs for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is where we spent most of our time just lazying at the comfortable chairs at the pool side while having a good cup of coffee or just hanging around.

Cocoon Boutique Hotel has several function rooms ideal for private, corporate and other social events such as wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, meetings and conventions.
Other Facilities and Amenities

You shouldn't miss the hotel's spa which is just a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day's work. We got to try it, and I must say that we really got relaxed after the massage.
