This Christmas season, if you're planning to visit the province of Cavite, please drop by the historic town of Kawit to watch the nightly "Christmas Lights and Sound Show" at the Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine. It opened last December 22nd and will last until January 4, 2015. The shows are at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM with each show lasting for about 30 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO KAWIT, CAVITE
From Southwest Provincial Bus Terminal in ParaΓ±aque (Coastal Mall), take an air-conditioned bus bound for Cavite City (via CAVITEX is recommended). It passes by the town of Kawit, fare is 30-40 pesos and travel time is around 1 hour depending on traffic condition. Please be reminded to come early as main roads in Kawit are closed to vehicles a few hours before the festival starts at around 5:00 to 6:00 in the evening.
