WHERE TO STAY IN CEBU: The Center Suites in Cebu City is "Where Budget Meets Luxury"

When I was planning for this trip in Cebu City, I really don't have any accommodation in mind. Like what I usually do, I just roam around to check on different hotels/pension houses and decide from what I see. Good thing that while browsing the net, I stumbled upon this new hotel in the heart of the city - The Center Suites. I was enticed by the photos I saw and wanted to try it for myself.

Located at the center of the city along Escario St., it is just a few minutes away from Ayala Center. I love its prime location; it's near the business, shopping and entertainment district of Cebu City. Food chains, Internet shops and other commercial establishments are just a few meters away.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was gladly welcomed by their front desk officer. Checking-in was a breeze. I was asked to fill in a registration from and was asked for an identification card for verification purposes. After about 5 minutes, I was ushered to my room.

Since I've already informed them the time of my arrival, the room was already pre-cooled. As I entered, I smelled the freshness and cleanliness of it. I like the minimalist theme, the color combination and the indirect lighting inside the room.

I was impressed! The room is new, clean, spacious, simple yet elegant! The bed is huge for single occupancy. It is soft, comfortable and matched with fluffy pillow and fresh sheets, which I love.

The toilet and bath has hot and cold shower, it's a bit small but very clean and the lighting is sufficient. Bath towel and toiletries were also provided.

There's also an LCD TV, a closet, locker, and a small table where you could do your thing. WIFI is also available. I just enjoyed my time here watching my favorite TV show until I fell asleep.

Every booking comes with a complimentary breakfast. You have an option to have it inside your room or in their restaurant. So, the following morning, I went to their restaurant and again, I was impressed! It very cozy! I asked myself, "nasa budget hotel pa ba ako?" Hehehe!

I was checking on my Facebook and updating my status using the hotel's wifi connection while waiting for my breakfast. It was served even before I finished checking on my notifications. That was fast huh?! Yes! both the wifi connection and the food service were fast! Hehehe!

Breakfast is a set meal of longganisa, fried rice, egg and hot coffee. Yummy!

True to its word, The Center Suites is "where budget meets luxury". If you're looking for a budget friendly and affordable hotel in Cebu City, I highly recommended The Center Suites, it's definitely great value for your money.

Two thumbs up for The Center Suites! Don't just take my word for it, experience it for yourself!

  5. Nice find, Mervs, Their location is near to Gorordo, where good restos and buffet houses are located. Also it's near to church and cebu provincial capitol as well :)

As I'm intrigue with affordable, I check the website, it's indeed cheaper for a luxurious setting.
