Travel Guide : Bukidnon - How To Get There, Things To Do, Tourist Spots and Attractions, Accommodations, Transportation, Itinerary and Contact Details

This travel guide will provide you with basic information on how to get there, things to do, where to stay, suggested itinerary and estimated budget that will help you plan your visit to Bukidnon.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Cagayan de Oro City to Dahilayan Adventure Park
Go to Agora Market Terminal, take a Van bound for Camp Phillips (60 PHP), travel time is about an hour. Hire a habal-habal (300 PHP) that will take you to the adventure park, travel time is about 30 minutes. Click here to know how I got to the adventure park.

From Camp Phillips to Cagayan de Oro City
There are vans in Camp Phillips that will take you to Cagayan de Oro. Look for it at the transport terminal where you hired a habal-habal. Fare is 60 pesos and travel time is about an hour.

To Malaybalay City
Via Davao City: Take a bus bound for Cagayan de Oro City at Ecoland Integrated Bus Terminal, buses leave almost every hour. Travel time is 4-5 hours and fare is around 320 pesos (air-conditioned).

Via Cagayan de Oro City: Take bus bound for Valencia or Davao City at Agora Bus Terminal. The bus passes by Malaybalay City. Travel time is around 2-3 hours and fare is 135.00 pesos.

TRANSPORTATION

There is no public transportation available when going to Dahilayan Adventure Park. Your option is either to rent a van in CDO or go to Camp Phillips and hire a habal-habal. If you are a big group, a van is a better option. But if you're traveling solo, I recommend that you get a habal-habal (single motorcycle). Below are the rates that was given to me by my driver:

RATES:
1 person - PHP 300
2 persons - PHP 500

CONTACT PERSON:
Bibot Sanchez - 0916-2864637
He's a good driver/guide as he gives a bit of information on the different things about Bukidnon. You may also contact him if you opt to take get a van. Highly recommended!

ACCOMMODATIONS

Since I only went to Dahilayan in Manolo Fortich Bukidnon, I won't be able to recommend any accommodation. But there are a number of accommodations available, from expensive resorts and hotels to cheap and affordable hostels, guest houses and inns if you opt to stay overnight.

  7. If you plan to go back to dahilayan instead of riding a public transportation (jeep) you can avail for the Dahilayan bus its only 500 php (from cagayan de oro to dahilayn and dahilayan to cagayan de oro). The pick up point is at divisoria but you have to pay for teh bus ride at the dahilayn adventurepark office at the gazebo, may office na kasi sila sa CDO.
