HOTEL REVIEW: Luxent Hotel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City

Luxent Hotel is located in the entertainment and leisure district of Quezon City. It's a perfect place if you love to go shopping, late night hangouts, chill with friends, attend events and enjoy the city nightlife. It is located along Timog Avenue making it accessible to the biggest malls in the North, popular bars and restaurants, and other establishments that we basically need.

Few weeks ago, we were invited by Luxent Hotel for a much-needed weekend stay in Quezon City. Upon arrival at Luxent Hotel, my heart was overwhelmed with the warm welcome of the staff as we entered the lobby. The hotel lobby looks extravagant and luxurious, as it suits the hotel's name. The front desk staff were courteous and responsive. They were able to arrange our room in less than 10 minutes. After filling-in the guest information form, we were handed our room’s key cards together with the complimentary WiFi username and password so we can enjoy reliable and fast internet that is free to use.

Deluxe King Room

Our room is a spacious Deluxe King Room (see rates online) equipped with all the much-needed essentials for a comfortable stay. The interiors are minimalist yet very charming. It has one queen-size bed complimented with soft and comfy pillows, clean white sheets and comforter. The room was carpeted so it adds comfort for every guest. Some of its room amenities include a flat screen television set with cable channels, reliable and fast wifi access, individually-controlled air conditioning unit, and en suite toilet and bath, a sofa, work desk, cabinet, and a mini bar with personal refrigerator and coffee & tea-making equipment.

The toilet and bathroom were spacious too, as expected. It has a clean water closet with bidet spray, a shower area with hot and cold shower feature, and a spacious sink with mirror and a hair dryer. The toiletries provided were generous and of good quality. Clean and fresh hand and body towels were also provided.

Swimming Pool

If I were asked what's unique with Luxent Hotel, it's the swimming pool. They actually have two swimming pools that are both located at the 6th floor. One is for the kids which is good if you’re staying at the hotel with your family. The second one is an infinity pool which you will surely cannot resist because of its nice view of the city. What makes it unique is its design. It has a glass on one side which will make it looks like a huge aquarium where you can clearly see the swimmers inside it.

And it’s even more beautiful during sunset and at night!

Dining

Luxent Hotel has several dining outlets featuring both international and local cuisines. They have Garden Cafe located at the ground floor which serves dishes from cuisines around the world. This is where we had our buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner during our entire stay. It also has two special private dining rooms which are ideal for small functions and gatherings.

We really had an awesome dining experience at Garden Café. The food were all delectable and appetizing. Must-try are the Japanese Section, the Mongolian Grill, and my favorite – Desserts Section!

Garden Cafe is open daily from 6:00AM – 10:00PM. It serves Breakfast Buffet from 6:00AM to 10:00AM, Lunch Buffet from 11:00AM to 2:00PM, and Dinner Buffet from 6:00PM to 10:00PM.

Every booking at Luxent Hotel comes with complimentary breakfast buffet served at the Garden Cafe. The buffet breakfast is composed of several well-selected and flavorful local and international dishes. There are different meat, fish, chicken and vegetables dishes to choose from. There's also a variety of breads, pastries and fresh fruits for desserts.

Another dining outlet at Luxent Hotel that you must-try is the Lush Bar and Lounge which offers sumptuous ala-cart meals and signature drinks. It is open daily from 09:00 AM to 1:00 AM.

There's also an acoustic band performing every Friday and Saturday nights, making it a perfect spot to unwind and grab some drinks after a long day.

Luxent Hotel also has Bread Indulgence, which is located near the lobby. It offers best freshly-baked bread selections, cookies, and pastries, perfect to start the day or as pasalubong to your family and friends back home. It is open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Other Facilities and Amenities

An exciting array of amenities awaits every guest of Luxent Hotel. Aside from the restaurants and the swimming pool, they also have AquaTrim Fitness Center that is free to use for guests, Reluxe Spa which is the perfect place to have relaxing massage after a long day, business center, and several function rooms and ballroom, ideal as a venue for private, corporate and other social events such as wedding receptions, birthdays, meetings and conventions.

WIFI Internet Connection

For someone who needs to be always connected to the internet, the complimentary WIFI internet access they provide is fast and reliable. I love it because I could still browse the internet or update my social media account as I stay connected anywhere in the hotel.
