More than 100 Flights Cancelled by PAL due to Tagaytay Air Traffic Radar Maintenance from March 6 to 11, 2017

PAL TRAVEL ADVISORY - More than 100 flights from/to Metro Manila were cancelled by Philippine Airlines (PAL) due to the week-long maintenance upgrade of the air traffic radar in Tagaytay City.

"Pursuant to the notice to airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Tagaytay radar will undergo maintenance and upgrade within the period of March 6 to 11," PAL said in an advisory.

What to do?


Affected passengers may avail of the following options without penalties:

  1. Rebook their tickets within 30 days from original date of departure without penalty provided within ticket validity; OR
  2. Refund their ticket in full; OR
  3. Re-route to the next alternative nearest point within PAL's network.

Passengers of affected flights are advised to call PAL Hotline (02) 855-8888 to get the latest update on their flight schedules, or go to the nearest PAL ticket office or travel agent who facilitated the issuance of their ticket or email wecare@pal.com.ph.

As of this writing, Cebu Pacific Air and other airlines are yet to release the list of their affected flights because of the six-day maintenance shutdown of the air traffic radar in Tagaytay from March 6 to 11, 2017.
