IHOP or International House of Pancake is known for its world-famous American-style pancakes. But aside from pancakes, this US-based restaurant chain has a wide selection of other dishes to offer diners, including burgers, appetizers, soups, chicken, salads, sandwiches, among many others. In the Philippines, it is owned and managed by Global Restaurant Concepts who also brought other international brands in the country such as California Pizza Kitchen, Morelli's, Gyu-Kaku and PF Chang's.

I was able to have a taste of IHOP's wide array of dishes offered in their newly-opened branch in Filinvest Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It was my first time here, so I am quite excited for this American breakfast dining experience.

New York Cheesecake Pancakes (PHP 285.00)

It has two fluffy buttermilk pancakes loaded with creamy, rich cheesecake pieces and topped generously with strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. It's heavenly delicious! I love the cheese added on the pancakes!

Peaches and Cream Brioche French Toast (PHP 285.00)

Made with two thick, rich brioche bread topped with peaches, honey-roasted pecan nuts and then drizzled with vanilla cream. As a finishing touch, it is sprinkled with powdered sugar and topped with whipped cream. This one is so rich in flavors. I love how the pecan nuts add texture to every bite.

Funny Face (PHP 165.00)

A huge chocolate-chip pancake sprinkled generously with powdered sugar. To make that "funny face look," it is added with maraschino cherries for the eyes and whipped cream to create a smile. It is part of IHOP's "Just for Kids" entrΓ©es which also comes in Buttermilk version. Kids will definitely love this!

Garden Stuffed Crepes (PHP 365.00)

Made from two pieces of crepes stuffed with Swiss cheese and eggs scrambled with fresh spinach, mushrooms and onions. It is then topped with rich hollandaise and chopped tomatoes. A very refreshing and filling dish!

Ham and Egg Melt (PHP 395.00)

Perfectly grilled sourdough bread stuffed with ham, melted Swiss and American cheeses and scrambled eggs. It is then served with onion rings on the side. This takes the traditional ham and cheese sandwich to a whole new level! Yummy!!!

Bacon Cheeseburger (PHP 435.00)

Thick and juicy burger with Cheddar cheese, strips of crispy bacon and served on a grilled bun with lettuce, tomato and red onions. Served with French fries on the side, this one is definitely a must-try at IHOP!

Fried Chicken Dinner (PHP 595.00)

This has four pieces of fried chicken which are perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It is then served with tasty mashed potatoes and buttered corn on the side. What I like with this dish is that, even if we ate it a bit cold (since we were too busy taking photos), the fried chicken is still very crispy.

Sirloin Steak Tips Dinner (PHP 595.00)

Grilled, tender, sweet USDA Select sirloin tips grilled with onions and mushrooms. It is then served with creamy mashed potatoes and buttered corn on the side. I loved it as it is definitely tender and very flavorful and it is big enough for sharing.

Savory Pork Longganisa (PHP 375.00)

A Filipino breakfast that was added on the menu of IHOP Philippines. It has two pieces of pork longganisa, garlic rice and two eggs which you can request for either sunny side up or scrambled. Paired it with the atchara or dip it in the spiced vinegar and you're set for a bursting of flavors in your mouth. Other Filipino breakfast meals on their menu include Beef Tapa, Pork Tocino, Chicken Tocino, and Lean Chicken Sausage.
