Going on a road trip to Cavite? Be sure to know the updated CAVITEX toll fees before you travel! Below are the updated CAVITEX Toll Fees as of October 28, 2025.
As someone who lives in Cavite, I always use CAVITEX whenever I go to Metro Manila and back home to Cavite. CAVITEX (or Coastal Road Expressway as we used to call it before) is a 14 kilometer expressway linking Metro Manila to the southern province of Cavite in the Philippines. Coming from Metro Manila, it starts from the City of Parañaque, and passes by the Cities of Las Piñas and Bacoor, and ends at the intersection of Tirona Highway and Antero Soriano Highway in the municipality of Kawit, near Aguinaldo Shrine and Museum. Managed and operated by Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), it uses Easytrip RFID.

CAVITEX Toll Fees starting October 28, 2025
UPDATE #3: New CAVITEX Toll Fees were implemented last October 28, 2025. The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the toll rate adjustments for the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) following petitions filed by joint venture partners CAVITEX Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) and Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) in 2020 and 2023. The new rates will take effect on October 28, 2025.
To help ease the impact of the toll increase, CAVITEX’ “Abante Program” will be reactivated — a toll reprieve initiative allowing registered public utility vehicles (PUVs) and agri trucks to continue paying old toll rates for 90 days from implementation.
NEW TOLL RATES
The TRB resolution grants the 2020 and 2023 petitions, authorizing the implementation of provisionally approved toll rates to support ongoing upgrades and maintenance activities.
CAVITEX R1 Portion (Seaside to Zapote) – VAT-inclusive rates effective October 28, 2025:
- Class 1: ₱39
 - Class 2: ₱78
 - Class 3: ₱117

CAVITEX R1 Extension Segment 4 (Zapote to Kawit):
To moderate the impact on motorists, the rate adjustment will be implemented in two tranches (2025 and 2026). First tranche rates are as follows:
- Class 1: ₱88
 - Class 2: ₱176
 - Class 3: ₱264

Note: Due to adjustment at CAVITEX R1 portion, the Sucat Interchange toll rate will also be adjusted accordingly. For the CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 2 (Dr. A. Santos to CAVITEX), the new VAT-inclusive rates will be ₱38 (Class 1), ₱76 (Class 2), and ₱114 (Class 3)
UPDATE #2: Starting midnight of August 21, 2023, the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) approves the increase in CAVITEX Toll Fees. CAVITEX motorists traveling in the R1 Section or Seaside to Zapote, would be charged Php 35.00 from Php33.00 for Class 1, Php 70.00 from Php67.00 for Class 2, and Php 104.00 from Php100.00 for Class 3.

UPDATE #1: As approved by the Toll Regulatory Board, starting Thursday, May 22, 2022, Cavitex (R1) Segment – PARANAQUE TOLL PLAZA will be implementing new toll rates.
Thus, motorists shall be paying the following amounts based on the new toll fee matrix (VAT-Inclusive): Php 33.00 for Class 1 vehicles from the current Php 25.00; Php 67.00 for Class 2 from Php 50.00; and Php 100.00 for Class 3 from Php 75.00.
The new rates are inclusive of the 2011 and 2014 periodic toll petitions, and add-on toll petition for enhancement works done in the expressway, which includes bridge lane widening works.
Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC) and joint venture partner Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) also provides toll reprieve program for PUV drivers and operators. It allows them to continue to enjoy the old toll rates of Php 25 for Class 1, Php 50 for Class 2 through a rebate program.
