BUDGET HOTELS IN MANILA: ZEN Rooms Del Pilar, "Affordable Hotel Room in Malate, Manila"

ZEN Rooms promises secured and comfortable stay at a very affordable room rates. That is why, when ZEN Rooms invited us to check out their accommodation in Malate, Manila last weekend, I quickly said yes. The invitation came in perfect timing because we're planning a Weekend Manila City Tour via the Klook Travel App. We made ZEN Rooms Del Pilar as our home over the weekend as we enjoy Manila's sights and attractions.

ZEN Room Del Pilar is inside one of their hotel-partners, The Windy Ridge Hotel Manila which is located along M.H. Del Pilar, Malate Manila. What I like most about it is its prime and convenient location. It is located just a few strides away from and to Malate Church, Aristocrat Restaurant, Manila Zoological & Botanical Garden, and Rajah Sulayman Park. More to that, it is just a 5-minute walk to the Manila Baywalk where one could relish the world-famous Manila Bay sunset.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was quite impressed by its old-world charm. The lobby is spacious and accentuated with nice furnishings.

We were hospitably assisted by the hotel staff with our booking. Checking-in was fast and efficient. After filling-in the registration form, we were given our room's key and were ushered to our room located at the 4th floor.

Twin Room

Our room is a spacious Twin Room equipped with all the much-needed essentials for a comfortable stay. It has 2 single beds coupled with clean white sheets, pillow and blankets.

Other essential amenities inside the room include an air-conditioning unit, an en suite toilet and bath, cabinet, television set with cable channels, telephone, luggage rack, a work desk, and a huge mirror.

The room's toilet and bath is clean and has clean water closet, a sink, and hot and cold shower. For your comfort, free toiletries both from the hotel and ZEN Rooms were provided.

Dining

If you get hungry, restaurants are just a few minutes walk away, or you may also call any food delivery service and have your food delivered right at your hotel room. For breakfast, we availed the hotels breakfast set meals such as their Tocino and Longanisa meals for PHP 150 pesos each.

Dine at Aristocrat Restaurant - one of the oldest restaurants in the Philippines, light a candle and offer a prayer at Malate Church, enjoy the dancing fountain at Rajah Sulayman Park, visit Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden, party all night at Malate's Bars and night clubs, savor on the world-famous Manila Bay Sunset, among many others. These are just a few minutes walk from ZEN Rooms Del Pilar.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay at ZEN Rooms Del Pilar in Malate, Manila. The room is simple yet very nice, the staff are accommodating and always ready to assist you with all your needs. Best of all, it is near business, commercial and entertainment establishments in Malate, making it an ideal place to stay for business and leisure travelers.

I recommend ZEN Rooms Del Pilar for travelers wanting to maximize their budget without sacrificing accessibility, safety and comfort.
