HOTEL REVIEW: City Garden Hotel Makati

City Garden Hotel Makati Review

Whenever friends would ask me "where is the best place to stay in Metro Manila," I would always recommend the City of Makati. That's because the city is strategically located to almost everything. It's near the historic city of Manila, the business district of Bonifacio Global City and the entertainment city of Pasay-Parañaque areas. Best of all, if you're traveling, Makati is also near the bus stations in Pasay-EDSA and just a few kilometers away to the 4 terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Just recently, we were invited by City Garden Hotel Makati for a much needed staycation in the city and to check out their facilities and amenities.

The en suite toilet and bath is well-lit, spacious, and very clean. There's a bath tub/shower area with hot and cold shower, a spacious sink, and a water closet. The water pressure is good and the water closet has a bidet.

It also comes with basic toiletries and bathroom amenities such as shampoo, bath gel, bath soap, and dental & vanity care kits. The bath towels are soft and all smell fresh! I couldn't ask for more, all I need are already here!

Swimming Pool

Located 22 floors up at the hotel's rooftop is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with lounges, chairs and tables catering to the guests' needs for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is where We spent most of our time just lounging at the comfortable chairs at the pool side while watching the sunset and the beautiful view of the city.

What I love most is the pool's mini Jacuzzi which gives a relaxing dip with its warm bubbling water. The best time to swim is early morning or in the late afternoon with the stunning views of the sunset and the city as your backdrop while enjoying a glass of fresh fruit shake from the roof deck restaurant open from 4:00 PM to 12:00 MN.
