Upon arrival at the Second Wind BBB, we were warmly welcomed by the hostel staff and assisted us with checking-in. Since we already have a reservation, checking-in was fast and efficient. It only took us about 5 minutes and we were given our room key and was ushered to our room at the 2nd floor.

Twin Private Room

Our room is a twin private room with 2 single beds coupled with hotel quality linens and pillows. The room smells fresh, clean and everything is well-organized. As expected, the room has limited space but they were able to maximize the space that it doesn't feel suffocating.

The beds are comfortable and the room is also equipped with basic amenities such as an en suite toilet and bath, a ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit, mirror, locker, a small work desk and a television set with cable channels. The room provides a little bit of everything and has a very homey ambiance.

As I checked on the toilet and bath, I was impressed! It is quite spacious for a hostel. It is equipped with hot and cold shower, water closet with bidet spray, hair dryer and a sink with a huge mirror. Fresh and clean towels were also provided. Toiletries were not provided, so it would be great if you bring your own.

Aside from the Private Twin Room, another option are the Private Double Room which has the a double bed and the same amenities and facilities of our room and the Mixed Dorm Rooms that can fit up to 8 persons each. We wanted to see the Dorm Rooms but unfortunately, they were occupied, so we were not able to take a photo of it.

Common Area and Kitchen

Our favorite part of the hostel is the common area where most or the guests lounge - to eat, smoke, watch TV, connect to the internet, read books or just to kill some time. The common area also has a kitchen that has a fridge where you could keep your food as well as free flowing tea and coffee. As coffee drinkers, free coffee is a such an awesome welcome for us!

Complimentary Breakfast

Each booking comes with complimentary breakfast served at the common kitchen and dining area. It is composed of breads, scrambled eggs, fruits, a variety of spreads and unlimited coffee and juice.
