Last July 7 and 8, 2012, I had an enriching weekend trip in Cotabato City and Maguindanao, the 68th province on my list. I am glad to travel with my fellow travel bloggers Eric of Byahilo: Ito ang Trip ko! and Bernie of HabagatCentral.com. It was a weekend of learning new things, experiencing a different culture, appreciating great architectures, and trying out new food.
Here's a summary of the places we visited and the things we did:
Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao
- Tamontaka Bridge
- Al Jamelah Weaving Center
- Lourdes Grotto
Cotabato City
- The old and new City Hall
- Sultan Hadji Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid, largest mosque in the Philippines
- Ate Pastil, a popular Maguindanaon delicacy
That's it for now. More photos and detailed posts on these soon! Cheers!
Check out my "#80PHL Challenge" for the list of provinces I've visited so far.
