Ozamiz City's Immaculate Conception Cathedral and Pipe Organ

Ozamiz City’s Immaculate Conception Cathedral is the home of the second largest pipe organ in the Philippines. It is one among the very few pipe organs in the country and the only existing in the island of Mindanao.

Visible from the city's main road, the cathedral’s colorful façade cannot be left unnoticed.

There are also huge statues in front, one is St. Augustine and the other is St. Ignatius.

It’s very accessible and just within the city. Another must-see tourist attraction right at the heart of Ozamiz City. Too bad, I wasn’t able to take a photo of the pipe organ. My apologies.

This is a part of my trip to the cities of Marawi, Iligan and Ozamiz last September 16-18, 2011. Ozamiz City in Misamis Occidental is the 39th province on my list and a part my 10th solo trip.
