Baguio City's Panagbenga Flower Festival is one of the most attended festivals in the Philippines. Held annually in the City of Pines, Baguio City, it is a much-awaited event attended by both local and foreign tourists. Now that we are slowly getting back to our normal pre-pandemic activities, the Panagbenga Festival 2023 will run for 5 weeks starting February 1, 2023 until the first week of March 2023.

Panagbenga Festival is a festival to celebrate not only the "season of blooming" of flowers but also the booming economy and prosperity of the City of Baguio. Several events and activities are lined up for the Panagbenga Festival 2023 including the Grand Street Dancing Parade, Cultural Dance Competition, Fluvial Parade, Mardi Gras at the Lake, Baguio Landscaping Exhibition, the much-awaited Grand Flower Float Parade, and so much more!

Baguio City's most-anticipated and biggest flower festival, Panagbenga Festival 2020 is happening this February until early March 2020. As the most-attended festival in Northern Luzon, tourists and travelers are expected to flock to Baguio City to witness this annual festival of flowers with exciting and colorful events and activities lined up. The highlights of the Panagbenga 2020 - the grand street dancing and grand float parade will take place on February 29 and March 1, 2020, respectively. Take note of those dates.

Now on its 25th year or silver anniversary, this year's celebration is expected to be one of the grandest. It's the time of the year again of the most festive season in the Philippines. This Yuletide Season, you could visit many sights and attractions nearby where you could really feel the true meaning of Pinoy Christmas, especially when celebrated with your loved ones.


Known as the "Christmas Capital of the Philippines," the City of San Fernando Pampanga once again brought us the annual Giant Lantern Festival. Dubbed as "The Biggest, Brightest and Most Colorful Christmas Event in the Country," the Giant Lantern Festival or "Ligligan Parul," exhibition night happened last December 14, 2019 (Saturday) at Robinsons Malls Starmills, Pampanga. It is a yearly competition of larger than life and extravagant Christmas lanterns in glittering and colorful lights, dancing in spectacular and kaleidoscopic patterns accompanied by lively Christmas Carols, popular songs, as well as a live band. Each giant lantern measures up to 20 feet with more than 10,000 light bulbs and manually controlled by rotor operators. It was participated by various barangays (villages) of San Fernando City, Pampanga to showcase their amazing talent and ingenuity in lantern making.

Every June 24th, a small barrio (village) called Bibiclat in the town of Aliaga in Nueva Ecija celebrates the feast day of Saint John the Baptist with the annual Taong Putik Festival. It is a religious festival celebrated by the locals and devotees to pay homage to San Juan Bautista on his feast day by wearing costumes patterned to his attire. The "taong putik" soak themselves in mud and cover their body with dried banana leaves and visit houses or ask people for alms in a form of candle or money to buy candles which they offer for Saint John the Baptist to celebrate his feast day.
