Sometimes, you don't need to go far just to find new discoveries. Laguna is one province that is so near Metro Manila that offers a lot of attractions that any intrepid traveler will surely love. And recently, we found a new accommodation in Magdalena, Laguna that is an ideal tranquil refuge if you're looking for a quick weekend getaway from your daily grind.
Recommended by our friend, Tito Raf of Magdalena Whitewater Rafting Adventure, Vonwelt Nature Farm is situated amid tall trees and lush green surroundings offering a relaxing and serene atmosphere that will surely let your stresses away. As it is located at the foot of a mountain, the cool climate at the resort will surely be a delight to every guest.
They offer several rooms for couples, group of friends, families, or even for company outings.
Our room is located at the 2nd floor facing the mountains which also gives a very nice view of the lush surroundings. It is spacious and has a homey ambiance. It has 2 single beds, an en suite toilet and bath, air-conditioning unit, cabinet, and a vanity dresser with mirror. I love that it is clean and smells fresh.
The toilet and bath is a bit small but it has a clean water closet with bidet spray, a sink, and a shower area with hot and cold shower feature.
Outside the room is a huge balcony/reception area with chairs and tables for you to chill or hangout.
Vonwelt Nature Farm also has a bean-shaped infinity pool overlooking the lush surroundings and the mountains. This is the perfect spot to relax, read a book and enjoy the resort's quiet and tranquil atmosphere while savoring your vacation in Magdalena, Laguna.
This is where we spent most of our time during our stay. Since the resort is not that popular yet, we had the entire pool all to ourselves! Yey!
Resort Facilities and Amenities
The resort is also an ideal place for company outings and team-building events as it has so many activities to offer its guests. We got to try some of them like the airsoft practical shooting, ATV ride, mini golf, and golf cart ride. With the wide array of activities they offer, you'll never get bored when staying inside the resort. This is one of the things I love most about Vonwelt Nature Farm.
Other activities they offer includes river rafting, trekking in the nearby mountain, horseback riding, trail biking, and airsoft war games ideal for company team building events.
Aside from company outings and team building events, the resort can also be a venue for any event such as birthdays and wedding receptions.
WiFi Internet Connection
They don't provide WIFI internet connection. But surprisingly, even if the resort is located in a remote area in Magdalena Laguna, 3G signal (Globe Telecom) is good. So, you could still check your emails, post photos on your social media accounts, or just for surfing the net.
Parking
If you wish to bring your car, parking will never be a problem. Wide and spacious parking area is available inside the resort.
F & B Service
Currently, they don't have a restaurant. But you can bring your own food. They have a pantry with a dining rea, refrigerator to keep your food and a kitchen where you could cook. Cooking equipments and utensils were also provided.
Overall, we had an awesome and very relaxing stay at Vonwelt Nature Farm. We had so much fun and we'll definitely coming back! Highly recommended resort in Magdalena, Laguna!
