MUST-TRY: Wishbone in Kapitolyo, Pasig

Wishbone Restaurant in Kapitolyo Pasig City

With plenty of new restaurants popping up here and there, it's almost easy to get lost in the midst of ordinary-tasting meals. Good thing I found Wishbone! It's a new restaurant in Kapitolyo Pasig that's been creating quite an attention from foodies who love to try new places to dine for great-tasting food.

Recently opened along East Capitol Drive in the famous food strip of Kapitolyo, Wishbone offers new american cuisines infused with sorts of other flavors such as Filipino, Asian and South American.

After the success of their first restaurant, Pomodoro Pizza and fueled with their love for food, owners Ram and Mandy partnered with Rakesh Bhogwani and thought of opening a new restaurant that will offer cuisines that will surely tickle every foodie's most discriminate taste bud.

Through the invitation from its owners, we got to check them out a few weeks ago during our staycation weekend in Ortigas Center. We got to try for their best-selling Srirachamansi Wings that has juicy meat and crisp skin fried to perfection. It can be eaten as it is or paired with a bottle of cold beer while having a good time with your friends after a day's work.

They also offer the wings in different flavors such Salted Egg, Hickory, Teriyaki, Garlic Parmesan and Thai Curry. With these varieties, you'll certainly find the chicken wings dish that suits your taste.

It is also best paired with their Dirty Rice. Infused with chicken liver, it really brings out the rich flavors of the chicken wings.

Also a must-try are their burgers and cubanos served with freshly-made potato chips. We got to savor on their Sloppy Juan and Chori Burgers as well as their Classic Cubano Sandwich.

Inspired by the classic Sloppy Joe, Wishbone's Sloppy Juan is made of 100% pure beef and has a distinct taste of sweetness topped with a melted cheese sauce. Yummmmm!!!

Served with homemade potato chips, Wishbone's Classic Cubano is made with pressed buttered and grilled bread filled with roast pork, ham, cheese and pickles. It's my first time to try a Cubano Sandwich and I really loved it!

Tasting Wishbone's Chori Burger brings back memories of Boracay where Chori Burger is a popular street food. It is filled with beef chorizo patty, lettuce, tomato and poached egg, it tastes heavenly! Don't leave Wishbone without trying their Chori Burger!

Overall, we had an awesome and very filling dining experience at Wishbone. The food are served hot and fresh, the staff are nice and their dishes are reasonably priced. It is definitely an awesome addition to Kapitolyo's interesting food strip.
