Resorts World Manila (RWM) recently opened its newest concept restaurant New York Pinoy Deli (NYPD) offering diners authentic big city flavors infused with a touch of Filipino flair. Present during the launch to lead the ceremonial breaking of the baguette were (from left) New York Pinoy Deli Chef de Cuisine Angelo "Chubby" Timban, RWM Director for Restaurants Armand Dela Paz, RWM Chief Hotel Operations Officer Scott Sibley, RWM Senior Director for Food & Beverage Hubertus Cramer, RWM Chief Gaming Officer Hakan Dagtas, and RWM Director for Culinary Arts Cyrille Soenen.
Like what RWM Chief Hotel Operations Officer Scott Sibley said “This place is built on the strong foundation of a New York deli,” “The idea was to bring a very chic, wholesome, home-cooked food from New York to Manila. This is something diners here have never seen before with the dΓ©cor, the lighting, the feel, and the flavors of New York.”
That night, NYPD offers a feast for food lovers; served a line-up of juicy burgers, over-the-top sandwiches, pizzas, different kinds of desserts, pasta creations, as well as a host of classic favorites that combine the core of New York’s culinary senses with the familiar zest of local cuisine.

Overall, I was amazed with all the set of food in their buffet especially with the Filipino infused dishes like the Tinapa Spaghetti, Laing Lasagna and NYPD Vigan Longanisa Burger. I also love the New York dish Rainbow Room Monte Cristo, which I think I’ve eaten so much of it. Hehehe! For the desserts, I like their sets of Gelato! I tried Strawberry, Banana, and Peanut Butter and I put some toppings to make it even more delicious.
