HOTELS IN MANILA: Ramada Manila Central, "Binondo's First Four-star International-standard Hotel"

It's been a while since I last checked-in at a "high-end" hotel. That's why I am so delighted when Ramada Manila Central in Binondo Manila invited me to try their hotel during their Chinese New Year celebration last weekend. Being a budget traveler, it's quite an experience to stay in a classy accommodation such as this. I love it's stylish and ambient atmosphere, a needed rest from my usual budget accommodation routine.

Ramada Manila Central is the first four-star international-standard hotel in the heart if Binondo, the "World's Oldest Chinatown". Conveniently located right at the corner of Quintin Paredes and Ongpin Streets, it offers guests with easy access to places in Binondo that are rich in history and culture, as well as great bargain shops and of course exquisite food.

Upon check-in, I was given my key card and was ushered to my room by their friendly staff. It was located on the 8th floor and my keycard could only access the floor where my room is located. This is good as security is one of the key factors when staying in a hotel.

The room that was given to me is awesome. I was at awe when I saw how lovely it is. It is so elegantly decorated but not cluttered. Everything is so well-organized!

I was speechless as I entered! It even has a spectacular view of Binondo Church's dome! Really nice!

It has one queen-sized bed that's so soft and fluffy, plus the fresh sheets, huge fluffy pillows, blankets and comforters that compliments it. I felt like I was melting into the bed as I tried it. It is so comfortable!

There's also an LCD TV mounted on the wall, a personal refrigerator, that was hidden inside a small cabinet and a desk beside the glass window with LAN cable available if you want to connect to the internet.

As a coffee drinker, I'm so glad that hot water, coffee and tea are provided. I just 'luv et!

As I checked on the toilet and bath. my jaw dropped when I saw how spacious it is. There's a tub, an enclosed shower area, a sink with a huge mirror and all the toiletries and towels were also provided. What else can I ask for?! I feel like I wanna stay inside and just soak in the tub the whole afternoon. Hahaha!!!

I wanted to stay longer inside my luxurious room but we need to get going as there are scheduled activities for us that afternoon. It's Chinese New Year! We are to Discover Binondo, it's food and great shops! I'll have more time to rest later. :)
