Manila - Philippine International Pyro-Musical Competition 2012 : Australia and Canada

The Philippine International Pyro-Musical Competition is an annual event that showcases fireworks display from different fireworks companies around the world. It is considered as one of the biggest and much awaited fireworks competition in the world. This year, it runs for all Saturdays of February and March at SM Mall of Asia.

There will be two teams in competition each week that will showcase their exceptional creativity and technical skills by firing spectacular and glittering fireworks coupled with synchronized musical scores.

Last weekend I was with my friends as we witnessed Australia and Canada battle it out as the world's best pyrotechnic experts. We were already at the Gold section at around 5:00 PM to get a good spot where we could take photos. We settled at the sea wall while waiting for the show to start.

The show started at around 7:45 PM with Australia going first followed by Canada.

It was indeed a spectacular show!

the whole family was in MOA this date to witness the event. my sister bought 16 silver tickets for us to enjoy the pyromusical but my youngest son, KIKO was so afraid of the vibrating sound of the blasts so we moved him away and my hubby and i just missed the excitement
