Takbo : OROFOLS Race Results

The DLSAA had released the race results of the "One Run, One Family, One La Salle" run held last July 18, 2010 at The Fort Global City, Taguig.

Takbo : The Biggest Marathon in Southeast Asia

Dubbed as the "Biggest Marathon in Southeast Asia", I registered for the CamSur Marathon 2010, last Tuesday at Timex Glorietta. I'm glad I got the race packet right away after paying the registration fee for the 5k event. Race pack includes the singlet, race bib and the disposable D-TAG timing device.

After the Sosyal Klaymers' Nomo Nights last Friday, I decided to go to Malate area and found myself in Nakpil St. looking for SEx. Actually, madaling araw na yun ng Sabado, at around 2:00 AM na. Di naman ako nahirapan sa paghahanap, alam ko naman kasi kung saan ito matatagpuan. Excited ako dahil matagal na rin akong hindi nakakapag-SEx.

Ayun na nga, nag-SEx ako, as in Sinangag EXpress... Di ko napigilan ang gutom ko eh! Hahaha!!!

We can't get enough of our Western Laguna Road Trip that we still want more. So, we decided to go to Lucban Quezon which is only 20 KM away from Nagcarlan. Sabi nga ni Koya Jols, "kung ang 10K run nga natakbo natin, malapit lang ang 20K..." Oo nga naman.. Andito na rin lang kami, eh di isagad na namin ang trip na ito... Hahaha!!! Hindi namin tinakbo ang Lucban ha... From Majayjay, we ride a jeepney bound for Lucban, it took us a little over an hour to reach the town proper.

Lucban, subtly nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Banahaw de Lucban, which towers 1,875 meters above sea level, is about 26 kilometers from Lucena City , the provincial capital. It is located on the Northwestern border of Quezon Province with geographical coordinates of 12 degrees, 33 minutes east longitude and 14 degrees, 7 minutes North latitude.Lying on a slope of Northeast of Mt. Banahaw, it stands at an elevation of 1, 500 feet above sea level. It is bounded on the north by Luisiana, Laguna; on the west by Majayjay, Laguna; on the east by Sampaloc, Quezon and on the south by Tayabas, Quezon.Lucban is approximately 160 kilometers from Metro Manila via Lucena City and 133 kilometers from Metro Manila via Sta Cruz-Pagsanjan route in Laguna and accessible by land transportation. Laguna - Western Laguna Road Trip

Because of our unsuccessful climb of Mt. Kalisungan, we decided to do a road trip around the historic and beautiful province of Laguna, which boasts to have one of the Philippines' incredibly beautiful countryside sceneries.

From Calauan, we took the jeepney bound to San Pablo City and alight at the town proper. Took some pictures at the San Pablo Cathedral before proceeding to Liliw.

We took the jeepney from San Pablo City going to Majayjay. Passing thru the towns of Rizal and Nagcarlan, I can already feel how to live in a countryside: no traffic, fresh air and all.

Laguna - Mt. Kalisungan Climb ("the attempt") - July 3-4, 2010

I found myself trekking again another mountain trail last weekend. This time, it was Mt. Kalisungan in Calauan, Laguna. To date, this is my 8th attempt to climb up a mountain, of which 6 are successful. I met up with my Sosyal Klaymer friends - Ayie, Alex, Mitch, Julius and Bheng in Jolibee Buendia. At dahil puyat ako the night before, I was the last one to arrive. Hahaha!!! Sobrang excited pa naman ako at bago ang aking bag na binili ko sa Conquer Outdoor Shop sa Robinson's Pinoneer. Hehehe!!! Mountaineer na talaga ako!!! lols!!! So, breakfast muna para may lakas sa mahabang byahe papunta ng Calauan Laguna.

At dahil ito ay Birthday Climb para kay Alex, dumaan kami ng Goldilocks para bumili ng cake... Thanks Bheng for the cake! So, kelangan mai-akyat mo yan sa summit ha? Hehehe!!!

Trip Ko 'To : Turista na ba ako? V2.0

I've updated my lakbayan map with my latest trips to Batangas, Rizal, Laguna and Quezon. I still have a Lakbayan grade of C-! Still a long way to go... Hehehe!!!

I'll be having more trips in the coming months. I have a scheduled trip to Caramoan sometime in September with my DLSU-D friends, a trip to San Juan La Union to give surfing a try sometime in the "ber months" and more mountaineering/climbing adventures. Kita kits na lang... =D
